Since 2003, our Union of Leagues initiated the series (cycle) of Epilepsy schools according to the educational concept of the ILAE and EUREPA.
Previous 18th Epilepsy school wasorganized by theUnion of Serbian and Montenegrin Leagues against Epilepsy on November 11-13, 2016 in the Hotel „CePTOR“(Andrevlje-Banostor). Regional co-organization was given to Prof. Dr. Marija Knezevic-Pogancev (Novi Sad).
19th EPILEPSY SCHOOL wasorganized on September 22-24, 2017 in the Hotel „Moravica“ (Sokobanja).
Main Epilepsy School topic: “Epilepsy and comorbid conditions”
Rare pharmaceutical companies partly supported the organization of the 19th Epilepsy School. No special promotion of any antiepileptic drug was encouraged.

By decision No. 153-02-1697/2017-01 from 19.08.2017 the Health Council of Serbia has accredited program “Epilepsy and comorbide conditions” (А-1-1962/17) as the 1st category educational, national course with 12 /6 credit points for lecturers/ participants.
A CD with Slide handoutsof lectures was prepared and it was distributed to all applicants during the education.
REGISTRATION FEE
Registration fee of 80 Eur included: admission to the educational program, accommodation (two days in double-bedded room) workshop material, coffee breaks, lunch, dinner – farewell partyand Certificate of attendance.

Travel expenses are not included.

Speakers were asked to timely prepare and submit hand-outs of theirs power-point presentations. This material was collected in a form of CD and it was distributed to all applicants during the school.
Before the beginning of the school, each applicant has prepared with Case report from his own clinical epileptology practice. Reported cases were further discussed. Case reports presentation were organized as small-group sessions. Sessions were coordinated and evaluated by (co)moderators (minimum 2 per session).
